Located in the Streeterville community at the corner of North Park Street and Upper E. North Water Street this mixed-use tower will rise to 100 stories at a height of 1,109'. The tower will contain 325 hotel rooms, a fitness center/spa and 325 condominiums. The base of the building will include a variety of banquet facilities, meeting rooms and restaurants, along with a 772 car private parking garage, all of which are located underground to maximize open space at the base of the tower for the community. The tower itself is intended to be a simple monolith of glass and steel, which will taper gently into the sky asymmetrically, creating the illusion of a twisting form.
DeStefano and Partners designed this 18-story, 500,000 sf office building for a prominent corner site near Union Station in Chicago's West Loop. Efficient floor plates incorporate the latest technologies and building systems, providing for 10-foot ceilings throughout. The building's envelope is a butt-glazed glass system incorporating projecting glass fins for a distinctive, crystalline effect. The light-filled lobby uses marble, wood and glass to create a clean, contemporary aesthetic in keeping with the building's exterior. Other features include a green roof and a glowing light-box at the building's top.
This 37-story residential development along the Chicago River is a concrete frame tower with aluminum, glass and exposed concrete cladding. All of the 150 condominium and townhouse units have eastern views overlooking the river towards the city's downtown and Lake Michigan. Typical unit sizes range from one to three bedrooms and the building houses seven levels of enclosed parking.
