One Thousand Meal Kitchen
The Van Andel Food Service Center at the Pine Rest Christian Mental Hospital has been the central in-patient mental health treatment facility since 1987. As such it has undergone a series of expansions adding treatment units, housing and programs. Throughout continued expansion of services and facilities the original Kitchen and Dining has produced increasingly more meals yet remained mostly unchanged. The Van Andel Dining project fulfilled the need for a 300-meal kitchen to become a 1,000-meal kitchen by modernizing and optimizing its footprint.

The Toasted Pickle Completed
The Toasted Pickle is a design build project involving a build-out of a restaurant in Grand Haven, Michigan. The goal of the restaurant owner is to create a unique sandwich shop with a local farm to table flair. Dan Vos Construction teamed with Interior designer Amanda Huizinga to create a turn of the century industrial look.

Vander Mill Cider Finished
Vander Mill's new Grand Rapids cidery includes an approximate 4,300 square foot restaurant and brewery with a capacity for 200 people, along with approximately 52,000 sq. ft. cider production facility, storage and distributions warehouse.
The production facility, tasting room and restaurant will be located at 505 Ball Ave. NW, Grand Rapids, MI. Originally based in Spring Lake, MI, Vander Mill’s added location will be similar to craft breweries, while the adjacent production facility will have the increased capacity to produce approximately one million gallons of cider per year.

The Pump House Frozen Yogurt Shop is located in the center of Grand Haven, Michigan. The facility features spaces to purchase and enjoy the frozen yogurt bar where you design the size, flavors and toppings of your frozen treat. This unique venue offers visitors a new experience with an traditional twist;
