The Van Andel Food Service Center at the Pine Rest Christian Mental Hospital has been the central in-patient mental health treatment facility since 1987. As such it has undergone a series of expansions adding treatment units, housing and programs. Throughout continued expansion of services and facilities the original Kitchen and Dining has produced increasingly more meals yet remained mostly unchanged. The Van Andel Dining project fulfilled the need for a 300-meal kitchen to become a 1,000-meal kitchen by modernizing and optimizing its footprint.

Our recent project involves an update to offices on our client’s campus. The renovated spaces fit how people work from working solo to collaborating with groups of people and meeting with clients. Multiple functions including private offices, conferencing, touch down work areas and cafes, coexist within an open concept that fits many flexible work styles.
