Conveniently located between The Hopcat and McFadden’s, Menna’s Joint is a popular food option that embodies a culture consistent with a late-night crowd.
Orion Construction renovated this space in just over four months.
Construction was completed ahead of schedule on this quick service restaurant in Gaines Township, Michigan. Originally slated for an early December 2013 completion, the project was finished and opened prior to Thanksgiving, providing additional revenue stream the owner had not expected but appreciated.
The new Subway restaurant features traditional cafeteria-style service with 1200 sf of sitdown/eat-in space. A drive-thru window provides customers added convenience.
The exterior finishes include two styles of brick masonry and a fenced-in patio. An outdoor gas fireplace provides ambiance and heat, while functionally extending the outdoor dining season into the autumn months.
The masonry treatment is repeated inside and compliments the wood and tile finishes.
Orion completed the construction of a new Occupational Health Clinic for Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan. The project involved a complete interior demolition and rebuild of an existing building. Included was: new interior metal stud walls, suspended acoustical ceilings, floor coverings, new doors and a new HVAC system. A complete new electrical service & lighting system was installed which included an emergency back-up generator system able to power the entire facility, a climate controlled combination IT/electrical room and a security and access control system.
The space includes a check-in/check-out and patient waiting area, exam/treatment rooms, drug test room, x-ray room, conference room, pharmacy room, large storage area, employee breakroom and staff offices. The project also features a shared gym area, restrooms and a large barrier-free shower room.
