Treanor Architects was hired by Johnson County to provide comprehensive design services for the construction of an addition to the Airport Adult Detention Facility (Phase II) and associated remodeling of the existing facility. 

The $46 million project will include 552 new beds, administrative segregation, disciplinary segregation, maximum custody, special needs, and medium/minimum custody beds as well as a remodel of the existing facility to accommodate projected inmates and staff. The new building will be connected directly to the existing facility with a secure link.
