WCC- Health and Fitness Center Completed
The new Health and Fitness Center Club is owned by Washtenaw Community College and is operated by Power Wellness of Arlington Heights Illinois.
This 70,000 SF facility is open for private membership. The three story building is constructed with precast concrete with in laid brick, brick masonry and metal siding
The club includes a gymnasium; lap pool, therapeutic pool, men's and women's whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms; open fitness weight lifting and exercise equipment area; spinning, pilates and yoga rooms, kitchen and lounges; classrooms and child care room.
The project is designed to obtain a LEED platinum certification with extensive environmental and energy saving aspects. The site of 8 acres includes impervious pavement and controlled storm runoff.

Williamston High School Completed
High School
The existing High School received a 76,000 SF addition comprised of 10 classrooms and a new performance gymnasium. The classroom addition expanded the educational capacity of the high school by creating a “Math and Science Academy†with common space adjacent to the classrooms that serve as small and large group study or collaboration areas. The gymnasium addition created a new 3-station gym, elevated walking track, physical fitness center, and locker rooms that are all designed for both school and community use.
Explorer Elementary School
Renovations at this 3-5 elementary school consisted of a new administrative office in a location that would better supervise the building’s main entrance, upgrades to classrooms and technology. Also included in the renovations to this building were the replacement of lighting in portions of the building, the creation of a group demonstration lab area and re-roofing.
Downtown Athletic Center (DTAC)
Removed from the rest of the District’s property, but located at the heart of Williamston, is the Williamston football field and track. This facility was completely renovated by replacing the existing 6-lane track with an 8-lane track, featuring 10-lanes on the straight-aways. The natural turf football field was re-built, with the addition of irrigation and improved drainage. New grandstands were added for the home team and the existing stands were expanded and improved for visitors. A new toilet/team room/concession facility was constructed beneath the home grandstand and a new ticket booth was constructed.

SHS - West Wing Addition & Parking Deck Finished
The 450,000 SF eleven-story West Wing Addition is located adjacent to the Neumann Wing and provides expansion space for key clinical services improving public and Emergency Department access to the facility.
Six new operating rooms, outpatient prep and recovery areas are consolidated into one area. Adequately sized prep and recovery areas provide for cardiac catheterization patients. All three and four-bed wards in the existing Sparrow Hospital where converted into semi-private rooms, 34 ICU/CCU bed spaces were added.
The Emergency Department occupies 53,000 SF and provides 68 treatment bays divided between a trauma | adult acute, pediatric and adult minor care area. The new public lobby connects the parking ramp and covered ambulance and public Emergency Department entrances.
The new 6 level patient | visitor parking ramp provides an additional 1,200 parking spaces with protection from rain and snow, and a protected entranceway into the Hospital.
