Granger Construction

The new Health and Fitness Center Club is owned by Washtenaw Community College and is operated by Power Wellness of Arlington Heights Illinois. This 70,000 SF facility is open for private membership. The three story building is constructed with precast concrete with in laid brick, brick masonry and metal siding The club includes a gymnasium; lap pool, therapeutic pool, men's and women's whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms; open fitness weight lifting and exercise equipment area; spinning, pilates and yoga rooms, kitchen and lounges; classrooms and child care room. The project is designed to obtain a LEED platinum certification with extensive environmental and energy saving aspects. The site of 8 acres includes impervious pavement and controlled storm runoff.
