Project: Ligonier Public Library

Kelty Tappy Design, Inc. was commissioned in late 2011 to conduct a feasibility study for the purpose of determining the need for expanding and/or renovating the existing library facility.

Several public design charrettes were conducted in January 2012, covering a wide range of issues including urban design, the architecture of the original Carnegie facility and subsequent addition, and consideration of technology infrastructure, interior finishes, and mechanical systems. These conversations, along with information gathered from a variety of local leaders, led to a draft study document delivered to the board in March 2012 for public review and comment.

In June 2012, Kelty Tappy Design, Inc. presented the final copy of the Feasibility Study document to the library board along with several illustrated options on possible addition/renovation schemes.

Additional updates will be posted as they occur.
