This was a fast-track project with Williams Company providing the Design-Build for the MEP portion and Hunton Brady providing the balance of the design. Work took place from mid-December 2004 to April 2005 and started with an empty warehouse shell. The build out included approximately the following areas: Call Center-25,000, Offices- 15,000, Production-10,000, Warehouse-9,000, Clean Room- 2,000, Data Center-1,000. Prescription orders are solicited and taken from all 50 states. The production facility manufactured certain drugs for chronic illnesses and packaging and shipment of these were done from this facility.
This private high school is built on a 100-acre green field site with such site amenities as athletic fields, running track and extensive hardscaping. The buildings of the seven building campus include high end touches like barrel tile roofs and abundant stone work. An ornately finished chapel with attached carillon is the center piece of the school.
Williams Company started on their second IKEA store in Tampa, FL, in the beginning of 2008 and completed the store in May 2009. Like the Orlando IKEA, the 310,000 SF retail store, is a full-day shopping experience. Besides offering nearly 10,000 exclusively designed items, IKEA Tampa features three model homes, 50 room settings, a supervised children’s play area, and a 300-seat restaurant.
