Barney's New York Finished
New 6 and 4-story high-end Barney's retail store on a tight downtown site with green roof. Extremely fast-track schedule with $23M of interior construction in 8 months.
108 North State (Block 37) Completed
40,000 s.f. retail/transportation center and 510,000 s.f. 17-story office tower. Retail center is 4 stories 400,000 s.f. above grade and transportation center is 4 stories and 340,000 s.f. below grade; top down construction. Perimeter retention system consists of slurry wall and structural secant piles; excavation to 50' deep; and 90' deep caissons. Dense downtown urban site.
Spertus Institute for Jewish Studies Finished
New 10-story learning facilitiy for Spertus Institute for Jewish Studies in downtown Chicago with classrooms; library; museum gallery and storage space; a 420-seat state-of-the-art theater for lectures, live performances and film; kosher café; space for community events, cultural festivals and celebrations; children and family center; and gift shop. Complicated curtainwall facade.
