We are currently engaged as the Structural Consultants designing this exciting mixed use project. This new mixed-use development consists of a 37-storey commercial office building and two residential towers of 66 and 62-storeys. The office building will have a GFA of approximately 800 000 square feet. The project is nestled just below the Gardiner Expressway and the Air Canada Centre at the base of Toronto, a prime location with easy access to Union Station.
In addition to the three towers there is a significant retail/commercial podium and a four level underground parking garage. Significant challenges on this project include sway control for the tall residential towers to ensure occupant comfort and control of ground water as the project is situated in reclaimed land beyond the original Toronto harbour front.
