Challenge: Create a high image office that will increase communication and easily transform from team use to work areas for individuals - 1,728 square foot office suite situated in a turn of the century, historical urban office building - Existing column bays guide functional space while fixed wall placements provide visual and acoustical control - Angled interior wall planes and workstations establish the flow of space toward panoramic vistas of the cityscape - Dropped ceiling planes and lighting help delineate work zones and add visual interest - The entry is warmly colored with bamboo floor and the cafe adjacent to the entry is the social centerpiece welcoming visitors and supporting staff - AIA Grand Valley Small Project / Low Budget Award
