Story

The Regency Center is a commercial building in Novi, Michigan that was constructed on an old land fill.  As a former landfill site, the poor soil conditions would normally not allow for construction of a full-scale commercial building.  But with Kent Companies' helical piers, which are driven through problem soils to load-bearing strata, the site was usable for this purpose.  Working with the pier manufacturer, Kent’s piers were designed to provide positive stabilization for the new structure with the piers reaching depths of up to 60’.  As a result, this normally troublesome site has become the place for new construction.
