Kent Companies was contacted to provide assistance in repairing this residential structure in Spring Lake, Michigan.  During the course of the renovation, the general discovered major foundation settlement problems along with very significant wall bowing and foundation cracking.  An engineer was engaged to review the situation and design an appropriate repair.  The engineer designed two helical piers as tiebacks to stop the horizontal movement and seven footing piers to provide vertical support for the structure.  Kent's crews quickly and easily installed the tiebacks and footing piers, stabilizing the foundation and preventing further settlement.
