Kent Companies was awarded this project through Pioneer Construction to provide the full concrete scope of work for this new 250,000 SF warehouse for Peckham Industries in Lansing, Michigan.  The project included over 2000 feet of frost walls, truck docks, and interior walls.  The bulk of the project was contained in the 4500 cubic yard, 6” steel fiber reinforced floor.  A liquid sealer/hardener was utilized to give Peckham Industries a clean looking and high performing floor.

The project was started in the late fall of 2010 which moved the foundation work starting in early winter.  Foundation work was completed in a month’s time meeting the Pioneer Construction schedule.  Flatwork and exterior concrete started in earnest in late Winter/Early Spring 2011.  Kent Companies utilized floor pours up to 40,000 SF at a time to meet the schedule.
