Kent Companies was contracted by Lion Construction Services Inc. to provide and install the Maxxon Gyp-Crete 2000/3.2k Underlayment on this project. This building was renovated to house a new comedy club and other small offices.

A structure steel skeleton was installed into the building, which led to areas of the floor that needed to be topped with the Gyp-Crete 2000/3.2k.  Another area of the building suffered from a 3” elevation difference between the new and existing structures. Kent Companies used the Gyp-Crete 2000/3.2k to fill in the areas of the floor where it had been removed to allow the new structural steel pieces to be installed as well as creating a smooth transition between the two areas.  This saved time and money, eliminating the need for additional demolition work of the old concrete.
