Kent Companies was contracted by Shrock Premier Construction Incorporated to provide and install the Maxxon GypCrete 2000/3.2k Underlayment on this project in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

This office building that was damaged by an electrical fire was being restored and renovated.  The original floor construction of the building was precast concrete planks and was already topped with 2 layers of gypsum-based underlayment and 2 layers of floor goods.  The old toppings and flooring were removed, leaving the original precast structure exposed. Kent Companies installed 1-1/2” of GypCrete 2000/3.2k over roughly 1000 SF to give the contractor a new flat floor read to receive finished floor goods.
