Story

In 2011, well-known accounting firm Beene Garter acquired the building located at 56 Grandville in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Because the existing structure needed extensive renovation, Kent Companies was hired by the Construction Manager, Wolverine Building, to perform much-needed repairs and upgrades.  Kent  restored, stained and polished the badly worn concrete floors in the basement of the structure, providing attractive and durable flooring for Beene Garter’s employee kitchen, break room and meeting rooms.  In the back entry to the building, Kent replaced the badly worn flooring with 1 ½” of Maxxon’s WearTop concrete floor topping.  The WearTop was stained and polished and embellished with decorative sawcuts.
