2024 Parade of Homes in Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties
Welcome to the online entry system for the annual Parade of Homes in Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties! Click one of the deadline categories at the bottom of this page to begin your entry. The system will save your entry as you go (similar to Google Docs) and you can return to finish as needed, but an entry MUST be submitted prior to the deadline to be accepted. Unfinished entries left in the system DO NOT constitute an entry. After submission, the HBA will follow up with an invoice based on your entry deadline.
Be sure to review the deadline schedule carefully:
Early Bird Deadline: May 15, 2024: $1900 per entry
Regular Deadline: June 14, 2024: $2,150 per entry
Sold & Occupied Home Deadline: July 1: $1,700 per entry*
*(Sold & Occupied entries are not required to be open during Parade weekends BUT eligible for judging. They may be listed as "unavailable for viewing OR "by appointment only")
Final Deadline: July 15, 2024: $2,650 per entry
Birthday House Deadline: July 15, 2024: $1,500 per entry**
**A birthday house is a home that was entered in the previous years Parade of Homes event. It may be judged IF it did not win Gold in the previous year.
Renderings will be 3D photo realistic style in full color still using the Color Selection Sheet included at the link below. If you have already have a 2D or 3D photo realistic rendering and/or floor plan created for your entry, you may submit your own rendering and/or floor plan for use in the 2023 Parade of Homes. All submitted renderings are subject to approval by the committee prior to use.
Please note: once an illustration has been started, there will be additional charges for changes that were not indicated on the original submission. If any changes need to be made to your entry (whether pulling the entry or switching to a different house), please review the Builder Contract carefully and notify the HBA of any entry changes immediately.
Accurate information is essential - especially contact info, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses - so that the information in the publication and website is correct. Note: most HBA communication with the Parade builders is via e-mail so be sure we have your correct e-mail address.
