Water Supply and Founders House
Williamsburg, MI
Total Fire was tasked with the design and installation of Fire Sprinkler protection for the project. This fast-moving project continued through design changes during construction keeping everyone on their toes. The remote nature of the project required the installation of a Fire Water storage tank with a Vertical Turbin pump. This water supply is located 1,000 feet from the first building being protected. The design consideration of future buildings using the same water supply required forward thinking.
The Founders building had architectural challenges that required the installation of both Dry and Wet sprinkler systems to provide protection. This protection is not only needed to meet the standards of code compliance but also visual appearance.
Safety was challenging while working in the Attic truss system to install piping, but our crew proved to be diligent with no injuries or other incidents.
