  • 2025 Awards of Excellence

    The Builders Exchange of Northwest Michigan presents our 2025 Awards of Excellence, which recognizes and promotes quality workmanship performed by contractors, subcontractors and their employees.  Winners will be presented at our awards ceremony on September 30, along with other nominees.  Award winners will be featured in a press release and print media articles in the Record Eagle and TCBN.  Winning projects will be featured on our website, in our newsletter and get social media recognitions. 


    This application process is for award nomination only. Tickets to the dinner event on September 30, are available from our website under upcoming events at : www.bxtvc.com. 


    This year's awards are separated into 4 different categories. Each award has a form and questions to answer:


    1. Company Safety Achievement

    2. Individual Awards 

          Rising Star: Individual for less than 5 years in the industry

          Industry Person of the Year : Individual with substantial time in the industry

          Legacy Award: Individual with more than 30 years in the industry

    3. General Construction Projects 

    4. Division Projects (Projects by subcontractors in their designated category)


    Nomination fees are as follows:


    Company Safety Achievement - $25 each entry

    Individual Awards  - no fee 

    General Construction - $200 each entry

    Division/Subcontractor - $200 each entry


    Applications may be started and saved and completed later. 
    You will have an opportunity to submit images, documents, presentations, pdf's, etc. to explain your project. 
    Nominees need to be members of the Builders Exchange of NW Michigan, but may be nominated by anyone including non-members.


     Submission deadline is August 8, 2025.  

    Rules of Submission

    1. A registration fee as outlined above is due at time of submission. If you wish to pay in person or by mailing a check, please call our office at 231-946-5531. All entry fees are non-refundable.

    2. Nominees should be members of the Builders Exchange of NW Michigan, but may be nominated by anyone including non-members. Winners need to have accounts in good standing.

    3. Members may enter multiple projects per category, or a single project in multiple categories.

    4. Projects submitted must have had work done no earlier than January 1, 2024 with substantial completion done by September 1, 2025.

    5. All accepted entries and supporting photos and documents become property of the Builders Exchange of NW Michigan and may be used for publication, marketing or for any other purpose deemed appropriate.

    6. Applications must be fully completed and submitted by August 8, 2025.

    7. The Awards of Excellence Committee may categorize, re-categorize and/or disqualify any entry after proper notification to the entrant.

    8. Entries need to be fully complete before eligible to be judged and submitted before the submission deadline of August 8, 2025. Entries need to be paid in full to be eligible for judging.

    9. You may be contacted for other information, reports, or documents in order for your entry to be complete.

    10. Winners will be decided by the Awards of Excellence Committee and will be announced at the event dinner on September 30, 2025. Dinner event tickets are not included with entry and can be purchased on our website at www.bxtvc.com.
