Windemuller completed a comprehensive electrical infrastructure project for the Meadow Valley Senior Living Facility in Traverse City, a community providing assisted living, independent living, and memory care. The scope of work encompassed over 200,000 sq.ft. with electrical installations across 110 residential units and common areas, ensuring a safe and functional environment tailored to the needs of residents and staff.
A key component of the project was the installation of an on-site generator to provide backup power, enhancing reliability and safety. To further support security, Windemuller implemented a card access system for controlled entry and installed a surveillance system with strategically placed cameras for continuous monitoring. Site lighting was also added throughout the property to improve visibility and safety.
The project presented several challenges. Varying requirements across different facility wings led to an inconsistent workflow that required careful coordination. Additionally, manpower shortages affected the project timeline, necessitating strategic scheduling to maintain progress.
Despite these obstacles, Windemuller successfully delivered a reliable electrical infrastructure that supports the facility’s operations and enhances the quality of life for its residents. The project contributes to Meadow Valley’s ability to offer a secure, well-equipped environment for modern senior living.
