Kent Concrete partnered with Rockford Construction to deliver the complete concrete package for the new Career & Technical Education (CTE) Building at the John C. Magnus Center, part of the Clare-Gladwin Regional Education Service District (CGRESD). This cutting-edge facility will give local high school students hands-on training in manufacturing, construction trades, culinary arts and other in-demand fields.
Project Highlights
• Cast-in-place concrete foundations and walls
– 350+ cubic yards for 1,592 LF of footings, 40 pads and 1,167 LF of walls
• Structural reinforcement
– 11.5 tons of rebar to ensure long-term integrity
• Interior slab-on-grade
– 32,000 SF at 4″ thickness (410 CY of concrete)
• Exterior sidewalks
– 10,000 SF of ADA-compliant walkways
