Story

The re-routing and a new parking area trailhead for the North Country Trail (NCT)/Iron Belle Trail had been desired by the Village, County, and trail groups for some time.  This re-route and trailhead development was a specifically referenced objective and action item in the Village and Kalkaska County’s 5-year recreation plans documents.
