Electrical-Contractor
You can’t really blame the senior citizens and retirees at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes for not being overly concerned about electricity. After all, they’re too busy relaxing in the elegant fireplace lounge, listening to concerts in the auditorium, taking a carefree stroll on their 40-acre wooded campus, or enjoying some tranquil moments on the patio deck. But when this continuing care community was under construction, somebody had to be concerned about the electric power that would keep the facility operational throughout the coming years—and that somebody was Allied Electric.
Allied’s electricians were involved in all three phases of Covenant Village construction, installing lighting and power to all living units, as well as fire alarm, generator and emergency power backup systems. The project was completed within the established budget while not sacrificing work quality, according to project manager Paul Hansma. The complex offers residential retirement, assisted living, memory-support assisted living, and skilled nursing in one and two-bedroom apartments.
