The Rod N Reel Resort located in Chesapeake Beach MD has completed the final phase of their three-phase transformation. Bausum & Duckett was awarded both the second and third phase for the electrical scopes of work. Phase III consisted of demoing the original building structure that was built and still standing since 1946 to the ground. Now stands a 4-story building with 60 hotel rooms, a five-star restaurant, multiple banquet rooms that can accommodate 500 guests and a roof top terrace all overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The main feature of Phase III is a 2-story all-glass atrium that is now the main grand entrance to the Rod N Reel Resort with beautiful water views.
