Twinbrook Quarter is a large, high-profile mixed-use building located on Rockville Pike, conveniently situated next to the Twinbrook Metro station. The development features a podium with retail space, anchored by the highly anticipated Wegmans grocery store. It consists of 452 luxury apartment units, with plans for a future office building. The building includes two expansive residential amenity spaces and three beautifully designed lobbies. The main lobby showcases extensive stone and woodwork, supported by detailed metal stud framed systems that provide a solid foundation for the aesthetic finishes. The 4th-floor amenity space has the most intricate metal stud framing, which features a large, variable-radius room with curved metal stud framing for both the exterior wall and the interior ceiling. The spacious gym is equipped with a sound-isolated ceiling to minimize sound transmission to the units above. This project also incorporates round columns and complex corridor ceilings, where Manganaro Midatlantic utilized preformed drywall shapes. This approach helped maintain the schedule while ensuring high-quality finishes throughout the building.
