R.W. Murray Co. was honored to serve as the General Contractor for the Villagio Hospitality Group's expansion at FarmBrew LIVE - Northern Virginia's first destination brewery campus, located in Innovation Park, Manassas. The 30,000 SF expansion will introduce a new main building featuring a distillery with a striking 46-foot curtain wall showcasing a 35-foot still, along with a retail store, restaurant, and two kitchens. Additionally, an adjacent RickHouse will provide storage for barrel aging, while the space between the two buildings will serve as a communal area for entertainment. This expansion will enhance the existing venue, which already boasts restaurants, food trucks, brewery, and an outdoor live music stage. A key element of this project is the relocation of MurLarkey Distilled Spirits from Bristow, VA to the Manassas site. This move was supported by a $250,000 Virginia Agricultural and Forestry Industries Development Grant, supplemented by a $150,000 contribution from Prince William County. Notably, this marks the first time Prince William County has received a state-supported grant of this kind, and is the largest grant awarded to date for a distillery.
