This $21,591,000.00 project, completed in a remarkable 14-month time-frame, transformed the school’s landscape, replacing temporary structures with a LEED Gold-certification expansion project. The 23,000-square-foot addition, designed by Moya Design Partners and Ashley McGraw Associates Inc , tackles the challenges of a growing student population. The project’s core focus was to expand the dining area, increasing seating capacity from 510 to 600 students. This improvement ensures a more comfortable and efficient dining experience, eliminating congestion and creating a welcoming environment. Beyond the expanded cafeteria, the project provides 12 new classrooms, two dedicated science classrooms, and three resource/breakout rooms, fostering collaborative learning and specialized instruction. These modern learning spaces offer students a dynamic and engaging environment, supporting their academic growth. Recognizing the importance of physical activity, the project also included extensive upgrades to the school’s athletic and recreational facilities. The existing field turf was completely replaced, creating a modernized, multi-sport field suitable for soccer, lacrosse, softball, and baseball.
