Brightview Dulles Corner – Herdon Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care 13700 Magna Way, Herdon, VA 20171 Located in Northern Virginia, the new Herndon Senior Living Community features over 190 apartments ranging from independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments. With multiple outdoor gardens, fireplaces and recreational spaces available to the residents, there was a wide range of landscape features installed in order to create a quite and serene environment in a vibrant urban area. Hundreds of trees and shrubs and thousands of perennials were planted throughout the grounds. A bocce ball court and dog park were installed to expand the programming of this space. This 230,000 SF building reaching 7 stories has multiple open spaces over structure and outliving living areas that we all designed and planted with individual themes to take in account the varying climatical and environmental needs of each plant community. The public park, also part of the Dulles Corner’s design, covers the below-grade parking deck, serving to foster intergenerational activity and interaction. By focusing on community-building and activation, residents remain more active and involved in the local community.
