Renovations and improvements to the Water Park included upgrading the existing water feature to serve as the centerpiece of this 1.6-acre interactive park space. The project aims to enhance public perception of the rebranded area, serving as a lively destination with easy access to the Mt. Vernon trail head and the new Virginia Railway Express station. Water Park offers a variety of dining options, including high-end and relaxed restaurants, as well as individual kiosks which serve as a launchpad for new restaurant operators and highlights the region’s emerging culinary talent. The design balances tranquility with family recreation, featuring an orchestrated water and light show, interactive spray gardens, and a performance space.
