Story

Dating back to 1873, the Rood Building is a familiar building in downtown Grand Rapids near the intersection of Pearl St. and Monroe. It is a four-story commercial building, now home to offices and Flanagan’s Restaurant.

We were contracted to restore the exterior and upper floor offices back to their original 1873 Gothic design.

The Rood Building is one of multiple historic places in the area listed on the National Register of Historic Places, added in 1988.
