A 4-story, wood-framed lodging facility was completed in Byron Center. The new 56,000 square foot Holiday Inn Express is a mid-scale, limited service hotel with 79 guest rooms. The guest rooms vary in size and style from family rooms with two queen beds to Celebration Suites with a king bed and whirlpool tub for two. The highlight is a 2-story, 4-room Family Suite. 
The main feature of the building, however, is an attached indoor waterpark, complete with a 24' high, double figure ‘8' waterslide. The nearly 10,000 square foot waterpark also includes a youth pool with play equipment and jumping jets, vortex pool and whirlpool.
