The Courtyard by Marriott on Lake Lansing Road in Lansing, MI received a complete overhaul of their lobby. The 8 week fast-track renovation included stripping down the existing interior and constructing new ceilings, walls, millwork, as well as replacing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components. 
By working with the hotel staff our project team was able to minimize the disruption of the hotel guests by converting the pool area into a temporary lobby. The pool was drained; a deck was framed over top, and then covered with carpet. The temporary lobby worked even better than expected; giving the guests access to all of the services and amenities they normally expect at the hotel, despite being under construction.
