Originally serving as a residence hall for workers at the hospital, Cottage 36 has been renovated into 29 high quality affordable housing units. General contractor Wolverine Building Group and architect Concept Design Studio collaborated in the extensive renovation of the 32,000 sq. ft., four-story building.
Located just one mile from downtown Traverse City, Cottage 36 is within walking distance of all of the excellent services and events that downtown has to offer. The project is slated for LEED Silver certification.
Cottage 36 utilized Michigan State Historic Tax Credits and MSHDA Low Income Housing Tax Credits.
