Wolverine Building Group completed major interior and exterior improvements to this affordable senior housing community, as well as the new construction of a community center and new outbuildings.

All of Bethany’s 238 apartments received a variety of improvements, including new windows, floors, paint, bathroom fixtures, blinds, insulation, accessible concrete porches, awnings, screen doors, closet doors, cabinets, air conditioning units and Energy Star rated kitchen appliances.

Because so many living spaces received upgrades and all were occupied, the project was completed via a complex “live renovation” method. Residents were asked in advance to relocate in the morning of their renovations for several hours on a designated date; they returned in the evening to a remodeled, refreshed apartment.
