Wolverine Juvenile Treatment Facility

Saginaw, Michigan

General-Contractor-Design/Build

Story

For the first project that Wolgast built for Wolverine, they were initially only interested in purchasing property from Wolgast, Wolverine quickly found out that Wolgast could also handle the design, construction and financing of their facility.  Wolgast secured private investors and the facility was built to suit and leased back to Wolverine.  This arrangement provided them with a durable, secure, functionable, yet comfortable facility to meet their specific needs, while minimizing Wolverine's risk.  Years later, after they had purchased the building, they hired Wolgast again to build an addition, which included a full service training kitchen, assorted classrooms and 20 additional beds.

"We look forward to working with them again.  I would not hesitate in calling them for the next facility...in fact, I'm not even going to bid it out, I'm going to give it to them." -Robert Wollack, President
