Clinton Twp, Michigan
General-Contractor
Wolgast built their second LongHorn Steakhouse in Clinton Township, Michigan. Work that was self-performed included site work and building excavation, concrete, framing and rough carpentry, and interior and exterior finish carpentry. The site conditions were unfavorable and required overexcavation of the building pad and an additional four feet of soil removed. Wolgast replaced the bad soils with approximately 2,000 cyds. of structural backfill. Wolgast also provided the coordination of receiving and overseeing the installation of all the owner provided equipment and furnishings. The owner, from Atlanta, GA, made monthly site visits to monitor the progress. The project was completed in six months.
