Triangle was in partnership with the architect/engineering firm in providing Design/Build services on this project.

Triangle was also the general contractor for the architectural trades and construction manager for the mechanical and electrical trades.

The project consisted of demolition of an existing parking structure as well as construction of the new cogeneration plant. The completed electrical and steam-generating plant includes a 4,000 kilowatt generator and a 20,000 pound per hour waste-heat boiler that provides steam heat for the hospital.

The plant also has two 27,000 pound per hour stand-by boilers in accordance with health department requirements.
