Pine Grove Learning Center offers special education to 65 students between the ages of 5 and 26 whose physical, cognitive or emotional challenges are such that they cannot be served in regular education classrooms.

Pine Grove Learning Center is a "center program" which means the building is part of the Kent Intermediate School District and operated by the Special Education experts of the Grand Rapids Public Schools.

• Serves approximately 70 students, ages 5-26
• Spacious rooms and hallways to accommodate extensive specialty equipment
• Sensory room and garden
• All classrooms have access to kitchenettes and office areas
• Therapy pool
• Ample bus parking and loading areas

The building was designed with extensive input from special education staff to earn certification set by the U.S. Green Building Council.
