Michigan State University-Hubbard Hall

East Lansing, Michigan

Construction-Management

Story

Michigan State University’s Hubbard Hall underwent a renovation to the public student spaces centering around Sparty’s Cafe. Included in the project were lounges, reception areas and a convenience store offering specialty coffees and cooked-to-order grill items.

Based on the Michigan State University’s neighborhood concept, the East Neighborhood Engagement Center at Hubbard Hall localizes the student support services within the neighborhood of Akers, Holmes and Hubbard halls. The center provides students with access to the university’s many resources including academic advising, writing center assistance, tutoring and Olin Health Center services.

All common dorm corridors, two on each of the twelve-story wings, received new paint and carpeting.
