THE KING CO., INC. was contracted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers to provide maintenance hydraulic dredging at Ludington Habor.  Approximately 110,000 CY of material was dredged from the harbor.  The material was placed on the north and south beaches.  Dredging was completed using an 18-inch hydraulic dredge, the Buxton.  The Buxton is fitted with ClamVision positioning software.  ClamVision is a fully integrated dredge positioning system providing our operators with a real time, 3D view of their work environment.
