Story

Eleven story office building that was origionally built in the early 1970's.  Mechanical systems for renovation include the replacement of the existing steam absorbtion chillers, renovation of the chilled water and condensor water systems to include variable speed pumping and enthalpy based cooling tower fan control as well as new DDC air handling system controls for the main air house which serve the majority of the building.  In addition the District Steam system was removed for heating purposes and new high efficiency modular gas-fired boilers, a gas-fires domestic water heater and gas-fired humidifiers were installed to meet the buildings heating, service water and humidification needs.  The HVAC improvements have been installed and are currently saving approximately $246,000 annually.
