Grand Rapids, Michigan
Material-Testing
Due to an increase in demand for its service, SYSCO Grand Rapids, a leading provider of systems and services to the food service industry, required an additional 67,400 square foot freezer and cooler expansion. Tthe existing 207,000 square foot building was expanded using a conventional steel structure, insulated metal panels, an ethylene-glycol sub-surface heat system in the freezer and extra thickness of insulation in the roof of the entire addition. The parking lot was also expanded. Soils & Structures performed Construction Material Testing on this project.
