Notified of apron depression at 4pm on a Friday afternoon
By midnight after last flight we had mobilized a team to excavate a 12’ X 15’ area 8’ deep down in a cone shape
The hole was filled with concrete and an accelerator so the apron could be open for traffic by 9am Saturday morning
Constructed during the height of a concrete shortage
