White Cloud, Michigan
Architectural
This resort facility constructed family-friendly, 10 and 6-unit, rustic-looking, single story lodges. The units all feature hot tubs and kitchenettes. The wooded setting and existing lodge dictated that this building incorporate structural timbers harvested from the site, milled off-site, and installed by the owner, who acted as his own general contractor. The 10-unit building, with it's full length covered porch, and both the 10 and 6-unit buildings with their natural exterior materials, nestles in harmony within it's wooded setting. The main lodge fronts on Robinson Lake. Omega also assisted the owner with a minor remodel to the main entry porch roof.
