Byron Center, Michigan
Architectural
One of a number of commissions Omega Architects has designed for this owner, this 25,405 s.f. facility was constructed as the owners first totally new facility in 1998. A 21,125 s.f. addition with a partial basement was added in 2001. The building was purposely designed with limited office and staff support spaces to allow maximum floor area for product displays. The building was designed with a combination of varying types of concrete block and architectural block of multiple colors, coordinated with the colors of the owners other facilities. A modestly dramatic entry warmly welcomes customers into the store, where they experience various displays that provide the buildings basic interior decor.
