Whitehall’s new $4.9 million Shoreline Elementary School is futuristic in its design and high-tech in its educational components. Construction was funded by approximately half of the $10 million bond issue which also included extensive renovation and separate additions to the school district’s three existing facilities. Over 90% of the $4 million in renovation was completed in five short months between academic years. Features: • Media Center with 28-station computer lab • 12-station computer lab in each wing • Classrooms equipped with telephone, TV, computer and video • Individual entrances, bathrooms in each classroom • Classrooms equipped with portable walls for group instruction • Kitchenette in each wing • Multipurpose room with stage and varsity-size court with rubber gym floor • Soccer field • 1,500-square-foot playground
