Story

MSA is lead Architect on this new 9-12 High School building for 610 students.  This is one of three major construction projects on this K-12 campus located on the northeastern growth edge of the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area.

The school will be two floors, and includes state-of-the-art laboratories, classrooms, media center, gymnasium/physical education complex, as well as future expansion for additional classrooms.  A customized auditorium was designed, as well as a 1650 arena-style gymnasium.  The second floor is crowned with a 25 foot high daylighting monitor in the commons area outside of the library, which overlooks the gymnasium and a viewing deck.

The project is designed to target LEED Silver Certification, and incorporates gethermal as a primary source for heating and cooling.
