Ironwood, Michigan
General-Contractor
To make room on site for this building and parking areas, over 85,000 tons of rock was blasted from a hillside. This material was then crushed and the majority of it used as a fill material for the two mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls located on the front and back sides of the site. Combined, these two walls have a surface area of over 35,000 square feet. This sitework package also include a complete site drainage system and retention ponds, sanitary system, water piping, asphalt paving, landscaping, and site furnishings.
